Stuffed Paratha (Jain)

Nothing can beat the way paratha satisfy our soul!


Here I am presenting a Paratha stuffed with delecious filling which has base of smashed raw banana.

Ingredients:

For dough:

Aatta
Salt
Oil

For filling

Boiled raw banana/boiled potatoes
Cumin seeds
Chopped/crushed Green chillies
Red chili powder
Dhaniya powder
Haldi powder
Lemon juice
Chopped mint leaves (phudina)
Fennel seeds (sauf/variyali)

Preparing dough

Take a mixing bowl and add atta into it.
Add 1 teaspoon saltand 1 tbsp oil and mix it well.
You can add 1 teaspood of besan to get extra crispy paratha.
Add water into it and prepare a dough with medium conistansy.
Make sure that dough should not be too soft or too tough.


Our dough is ready, give it rest of 15 minuets.

Preparing filling

Take a mixing bowl and add some mashed raw banana or mashed potatoes.


Add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, haldi powder, salt, fennel seeds, chopped mint leaves, lemon juice and mix all them well.

Get a proper binding and our filling is ready.

Now take a ball of a dough, add dry atta and make a small roti with your hand. 
Add some filling into it and combine edges.


Now roll a roti again.
Turn the flame on and put a pan on it.
Add prepared paratha on it.
Cook it for 1 minute and filp it.
Add some ghee on it and after 1 minute flip it again. After 20 second take it out.


Make all the paratha in a same way. 

Now our paratha is ready to serve. You can serve it with tomato soup or a bowl of curd!
