And what is better than a Badam kheer, when it comes to celebrate every achievments or occasions.
Kheer is basically a rice pudding, prepared with rice,milk, suguar and dry fruits. Its popular Indian dessert which has many variations and here I am presenting my version of badam kheer.
Ingridiants:
1 ltr Milk ( I used Amul Gold, you can use any other brand)
100 gm sugar
100 gm rice (I used jirasar, you can use broken rice too) (Soak it for 10-20 mins and then wash it)
1 pinch saffron
10-12 finely chopped almonds

Add 100 gm sugar, and keep stirring. You can add cardamom powder if you like, here I have not added it. after 5 minutes of adding sugar turn the flame off and let it cool.
Step 5:
After cooling it down, it is ready to serve. Put it in a serving bowl. Garnish it with chopped almonds and saffron.

- Add 1 ltr milk in a bowl and add a pinch of saffron and give it a quick boil, don't forget to stir it continously.
Step 2: once it reaches to the boiling tempurature, add soaked rice, and chopped almonds. Keep stirring it continously, otherwise rice will stick to the bottom.
Step 3: Stir it for at least 20 minutes on high flame and then check if rice is cooked or not, if not then cook it for more 10 minutes.
Step 4:
Add 100 gm sugar, and keep stirring. You can add cardamom powder if you like, here I have not added it. after 5 minutes of adding sugar turn the flame off and let it cool.
